苏州城内古胥门地段的三桥，都是运河上的桥，架设在苏州古运河环古城河上。近16公里的环古城河健身步道围绕苏州古城，串连了多个城门、公园和历史文化遗迹，与多座桥梁相连。桥与河，共同建筑起古城的天然屏障，呈现着古城历史的画面。
